Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Gurugram, Haryana.

The Junior

Accountant will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including posting journal entries, updating ledgers, and reconciling bank statements.

Responsibilities include supporting the preparation of financial statements, assisting with audits and compliance-related documentation, and helping with tax computations and filings under supervision. The role involves preparing vouchers and invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating with team members to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.

Accountant will also support senior professionals on due diligence, management reporting, and other client engagements as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational accounting skills, including journal entry posting, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, and basic financial statement understanding.
- Candidates should possess skills in taxation and compliance, including familiarity with Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including data entry, spreadsheet analysis, and use of formulas for basic financial calculations.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to support due diligence, audit procedures, and management reporting.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work with confidential financial information responsibly.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or completed CA or equivalent professional qualifications will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage time effectively, and adapt to a rapid-paced professional services environment.
