About the Role

We are looking for a Field / Laboratory Technician to support our Quality Control and Technical operations in the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) business. The role will involve field sampling, laboratory testing of concrete and raw materials, conducting concrete trials, and ensuring compliance with specified quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct in-situ sampling and testing of concrete at project sites and plant locations.

· Carry out testing of fresh and hardened concrete as per applicable testing procedures and standards.

· Perform raw material testing for Cement, Aggregates, Admixtures and Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCM).

· Assist in conducting concrete mix trials and performance trials, both internally and in the presence of customers.

· Maintain proper records of test results, sampling, trials and quality observations.

· Ensure testing equipment and laboratory activities are maintained as per required quality and safety practices.

· Coordinate with the Production, Quality Control and Sales/Technical teams for customer-related testing and trials.

· Identify and report quality deviations or abnormalities to the concerned senior/team lead.

· Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and applicable technical standards.





Candidate Requirements

· Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or relevant technical qualification.

· Basic understanding of concrete technology, construction materials and laboratory testing.

· Proficiency in basic computer operations, including MS Excel and MS Word.

· Good observation, documentation and analytical skills.

· Ability to work at RMC plants and customer/project sites as required.

· Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with prior experience in the Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) industry will be preferred.

Freshers with relevant Civil Engineering qualifications and a strong interest in Quality Control / Concrete Technology may also be considered.
