Position Title: Fashion Designer Department: Design Product Development

Job Summary

We are looking for an innovative and detailed Fashion Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will lead designs from concept to final executiontranslating trend forecasts, market insights, and brand strategy into compelling, commercially viable collections.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong artistic eye, mastery of technical garment construction, and proficiency with digital design software.

Key Responsibilities

- Concept Collection Development Trend Research: Conduct continuous research on seasonal trends, fabric innovations, color palettes, and market demographics. Mood Boards Storytelling: Create visual mood boards, color stories, and concept presentations to set collection direction.

Sketching CAD: Draft initial design concepts via hand sketches and digital flat sketches (CADs).

- Technical Design Specs Tech Packs: Build detailed tech packs with precise measurements, construction callouts, stitch details, and material specifications. Material Sourcing: Select and source fabrics, trims, hardware, and embellishments aligned with target price points and quality standards. 3D Prototyping (Bonus): Utilize 3D fashion design tools (CLO 3D / Browzwear) for digital sampling and fit virtualization.

- Fitting Sample Execution Prototyping Sampling: Work closely with patternmakers, sample machinists, and overseas/local vendors to bring initial samples to life. Fit Sessions: Lead fit sessions with technical design teams and fit models,



making necessary design revisions and specs adjustments.

Quality Control: Inspect garment samples for construction accuracy, fit integrity, and alignment with original design specs.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Merchandising Product Development to ensure designs meet cost margins and line plan objectives. Collaborate with Marketing Styling teams to ensure aesthetic consistency during campaign photoshoots and lookbook creation.

Qualifications Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). Experience: 0-8 years of professional design experience in [e.g., womenswear, activewear, menswear, luxury, etc.].

Technical Skills

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, textiles, draping, and pattern-making principles.
- Experience creating transparent, accurate Tech Packs (via PLM or Excel/Illustrator).

Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing flat sketches, mood boards, tech packs, and finished garment images.

Key Competencies Soft Skills

Aesthetic Eye : Excellent sense of proportion, color theory, and current style trends.

Communication: Ability to articulate design concepts clearly to internal stakeholders and foreign manufacturing partners.

Time Management : Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple seasonal deadlines simultaneously.

Adaptability: Open to constructive design feedback and flexible in pivoting with market needs.
