The Ahmedabad Education Society invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for teaching positions in the field of Applied Psychology at the Bachelor’s level and Clinical Psychology at the Master’s level for LD Arts College.

The selected faculty member will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate Psychology courses, preparing lectures and course materials, conducting assessments, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic activities of the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach courses related to Applied Psychology at the Bachelor’s level.
- Teach relevant subjects in Clinical Psychology at the Master’s level.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and academic activities.
- Develop course materials, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, projects, and presentations.
- Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, and other academic activities.
- Support student projects, research activities, and academic events.
- Maintain academic records and comply with institutional academic requirements.

Minimum Academic Qualification:





- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology / Applied Psychology or a relevant discipline with a minimum of 52.50% marks.
- Master’s Degree in Psychology / Applied Psychology / Clinical Psychology or a relevant specialization with a minimum of 55% marks.
- Candidates with relevant specialization in Clinical Psychology will be preferred for postgraduate-level teaching.
- Candidates should have a robust academic background in Psychology and relevant subject knowledge.
- Preferred Qualifications
- NET / SET / Ph.D. in Psychology or a relevant field will be an advantage.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level will be preferred.
- Candidates with practical, research, counselling, clinical, or applied psychology experience may also be considered, subject to the requirements of the position.
- Good communication, presentation, classroom-management, and student-mentoring skills.
