Job Purpose To operate grinding machines safely and efficiently to achieve the required dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality standards as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate grinding machines as per production specifications.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.

- Perform surface, cylindrical, or centerless grinding operations as required.

- Check dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and gauges.

- Ensure components meet quality specifications and tolerances.

- Conduct routine machine inspection and basic preventive maintenance.

- Report machine malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.

- Maintain production records and job-related documentation.

- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.

- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area.

- Support continuous improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.





Required Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma in Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or related trade preferred.

- Minimum 1-3 years of experience operating grinding machines in a manufacturing workplace.

- Knowledge of measuring instruments and engineering drawings.

Required Skills

- Machine operation and setup.

- Understanding of grinding processes and tolerances.

- Ability to read technical drawings.

- Quality inspection and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail.

- Teamwork and communication skills.

Working Conditions

- Work in a manufacturing/shop-floor environment.

- Ability to work in shifts as per production requirements.

- Standing for extended periods and handling machine tools and components.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
