Role Overview:

Responsible for providing comprehensive financial leadership and support to the Managing Director (MD), ensuring the company's financial health and compliance while also advising on strategic financial decisions. This role requires strong financial expertise, leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Monitor financial related performance and report on change initiatives to ensure effective implementation with minimal disruption to business operations.

Strategic Financial Planning and Advisory:

- Provide guidance to the MD on financial matters, including investment strategies, capital allocation, and risk management.
- Identify and assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop financial strategies to achieve Group goals and objectives defined by the business plans.
- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, preparing financial reports and statements for the MD.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape.

Financial Performance Tracking and Reporting:

- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and assess the company's financial health and performance, providing regular reports and insights to the MD.
- Understand the expectations of senior leadership teams in terms of key metrics and business processes to review, their frequency and cadence.
- Work with functional teams to design the right set of performance dashboards for reporting of financial performance metrics.




- Monitor performance and highlight short-, medium-, and long-term issues including remedial actions on strategic initiatives.
- Monitor budgets, financial reports, and report on financial health by monitoring expenses and revenues.

Financial Operational Oversight:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards across the Group.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, HR and Operations to ensure cohesive integration efforts.
- Present financial implications of initiatives to functional owners and work closely with functional teams to drive implementation of initiatives.
- Effectively communicate financial information to the MD and other stakeholders, fostering strong working relationships.

Requirements:

- 8-15 years of relevant work experience, CA with MBA desirable.
- Hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Analytic ability and strong coordination skill with exposure to various kinds of business dashboard with lead indicator of revenue and financial data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure workplace.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
