About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to manage quantity surveying, cost estimation, and budget controls for institutional school construction projects under the Karnataka Public School (KPS) expansion initiative.

In this role, you will lead the financial framework from pre-construction feasibility to final procurement ensuring cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and precision across multi-site educational developments.

Key Responsibilities

- Detailed Cost Estimation: Draft high-accuracy Bill of Quantities (BOQ), preliminary cost estimates, and detailed line-item budgets for multi-story school buildings, campus civil work, and site infrastructure.
- Value Engineering: Perform cost-benefit analyses to optimize material specifications and structural methods without compromising quality, safety, or design intent.

Key Requirements





- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Experience: 2-5+ years in cost estimation, pre-construction budgeting, and BOQ generation for large-scale civil, institutional, or commercial projects.
- Regional Experience: In-depth working knowledge of KPWD Schedule of Rates, local Karnataka vendor networks, and government tender norms.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in MS Excel (Advanced Financial Modeling), AutoCAD, and cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, MS Project, or SAP).
- Skills: Robust analytical acumen, sharp negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of structural, MEP, and civil construction workflows.
