About the RoleWe are looking for an Ethical Hacking Intern to join our remote cybersecurity team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in ethical hacking, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, network security, and cybersecurity tools.

You’ll work in authorized lab environments and on approved security projects to identify vulnerabilities, assess security risks, and understand how systems can be protected against cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform ethical hacking exercises in authorized environments
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Conduct reconnaissance and information gathering on approved targets
- Work with Kali Linux and common cybersecurity tools
- Perform network security testing and analysis
- Use tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, and Metasploit
- Perform basic web application security testing
- Identify and document security vulnerabilities
- Analyze network traffic and security logs
- Assist with security audits and risk assessments
- Prepare technical reports with findings and remediation recommendations
- Participate in cybersecurity labs, simulations, and practical projects




- Follow responsible disclosure and ethical security practices

What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field
- Basic understanding of ethical hacking and cybersecurity concepts
- Familiarity with Kali Linux
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and ports
- Knowledge of common cybersecurity vulnerabilities is preferred
- Familiarity with Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, or Metasploit is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Python or Bash scripting is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn cybersecurity tools and techniques
- Ability to work responsibly within authorized testing environments
- Own laptop and secure internet connection
