Role Description The Environment Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves overseeing environmental management activities, including monitoring compliance with relevant regulations, coordinating environmental impact assessments, and identifying and addressing key environmental issues across projects.

The Setting

Manager will develop and implement environmental policies, support Environment Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives, and collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure sustainable practices and risk mitigation. Daily tasks include reviewing reports and data, preparing documentation for regulatory submissions, conducting site assessments, and providing guidance on environmental best practices.



The role also requires close coordination with laboratory and engineering staff to align environmental strategies with project objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with the ability to develop and implement EHS programs and procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Compliance, including knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Policy and Environmental Issues, with experience in drafting policies and addressing emerging environmental challenges.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Impact Assessment, including planning, execution, and review of impact studies for infrastructure and industrial projects.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in environmental consulting, industrial EHS management, or regulatory compliance, preferably within infrastructure, energy, or engineering sectors.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with proficiency in common office and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with clients and regulators.
