About this Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead 2-3 agile delivery pods across multiple product teams. The role combines technical leadership, delivery ownership, people management, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will drive high-quality software delivery while collaborating closely with Product, Support, and Professional Services teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage 2-3 agile delivery pods across multiple product teams.
- Own delivery planning, execution, risk management, and release readiness.
- Mentor and develop engineers, technical leads, and future leaders.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and architectural oversight.
- Drive CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and engineering best practices.
- Champion the use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Lead adoption of Agentic AI approaches to improve engineering productivity and software delivery.
- Partner with Support and Professional Services teams to triage, prioritise, and resolve production issues.




- Drive root cause analysis, defect management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with Product, QA, Architecture, and Operations teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a management or technical leadership role.
- Proven experience managing multiple agile teams or delivery pods.
- Robust record of delivering enterprise software solutions.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience delivering solutions using Agentic AI or AI-enabled development approaches.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, cloud technologies, and modern SDLC practices.
- Experience managing production support, customer escalations, and incident resolution.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Desirable Skills

- Ruby on Rails experience.
- Oracle APEX experience.
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to Azure AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Copilot Studio, or similar AI platforms.
