Role Description The Engineer Shift In Charge is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for supervising and managing plant operations during assigned shifts. This role oversees the secure, efficient, and reliable running of power and renewable energy systems, including monitoring equipment performance, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring adherence to operating procedures and safety standards.

The Engineer Shift In

Charge will manage shift personnel, allocate tasks, and ensure effective communication between operations, maintenance, and project teams. Daily responsibilities include logging operational data,



identifying and troubleshooting technical issues, supporting start-up and shut-down activities, and implementing guidelines for Green Hydrogen and associated power systems. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, supports compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements, and assists in execution of EPC project plans at the site.

Qualifications

- Strong technical knowledge of power plants, renewable energy systems, and Green Hydrogen or related process/utility systems, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and operating manuals.
- Hands-on experience in plant operations, shift supervision, and coordination with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
- Proficiency in monitoring and reporting operational data, using digital tools, control room interfaces, and basic SCADA or DCS systems as applicable.
- Solid understanding of safety standards, permit-to-work systems, and environmental compliance in industrial or EPC project environments.
- Effective leadership and people management skills for handling shift teams, along with clear communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or equivalent) with prior experience in power, renewable energy, or process industries.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, respond to operational emergencies, and collaborate with cross-functional project and engineering teams.
- Exposure to industrial decarbonization projects, hydrogen technologies, or clean energy EPC work is an advantage.
