Role Description The Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India, responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and productive operation of plant equipment, processes, utilities, and engineering activities across the facility.

The role involves monitoring plant and equipment performance, identifying technical issues, supporting preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with production and other engineering functions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The Engineer will work closely with production, maintenance, process, quality, utilities, and project teams to minimize downtime and support smooth plant operations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting equipment and systems, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting in maintenance and repair activities, monitoring operating parameters, maintaining engineering records, coordinating with vendors and contractors,



supporting equipment installation and commissioning, and ensuring compliance with plant safety and operational standards.

The role will also support initiatives related to equipment reliability, process efficiency, productivity improvement, cost optimization, energy efficiency, and workplace safety.

Qualifications

- Engineering Graduate, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Production, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, or process plant operations.
- Relevant experience in the maize processing, starch, food processing, agro-processing, or process manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of plant equipment, manufacturing processes, utilities, and engineering systems.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, breakdown support, and plant operations.
- Ability to identify technical issues and perform root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Experience coordinating with production, maintenance, quality, utilities, projects, and other plant functions.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals, technical specifications, and operating procedures.
- Good knowledge of plant safety, SOPs, operational standards, and engineering practices.
- Good planning, documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Strong focus on safety, reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
