Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 1–3 years preferred; freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered

Location: Vasai East To ensure smooth production operations, adherence to production schedules, and compliance with specified quality standards. The engineer will be responsible for monitoring CNC machining processes, conducting inspections, identifying quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining production and quality records.

Key Responsibilities1. Production

- Plan and monitor daily production activities as per production schedules.
- Monitor CNC machining and other manufacturing processes.
- Ensure machines are operated according to approved process parameters and work instructions.
- Monitor production output, rejection, rework, and machine downtime.
- Maintain production-related records and reports.

1. Quality Control

- Inspect incoming raw materials, forgings, components, and bought-out items.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of machined components.
- Check dimensions using vernier calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Carry out first-piece inspection and approval before starting batch production.
- Ensure proper segregation and identification of non-conforming products.




- Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and other departments regarding quality issues.

1. Drawing & Technical Understanding

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
- Understand GD&T; and basic dimensional tolerancing.

1. Quality System

- Follow and maintain procedures related to ISO 9001:2015.
- Maintain inspection, production, rejection, rework, and corrective-action records.

1. Problem Solving & Improvement

- Investigate production and quality problems using 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and other basic root-cause analysis methods.

Required Technical Skills
- Valuable understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and gauges.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T.;
- Knowledge of machining defects and their causes.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to prepare production and inspection reports.

Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:
- CNC machining
- Tube fittings / hydraulic fittings
- Precision engineering components

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
