Responsibilities

Developer Experience Engineering Productivity

- Design and build self-service developer platforms, tooling, and workflows that improve engineering productivity and reduce cognitive load.

- Partner with engineering teams to identify pain points in the software development lifecycle and implement scalable solutions.

- Create frameworks that enable teams to build, test, deploy, and operate applications consistently and efficiently.

- Measure and improve developer experience using engineering productivity metrics, feedback loops, and adoption data.

- Drive standardization and best practices across development environments, deployment workflows, and engineering tooling.

CI/CD Deployment Automation

- Design, build, and maintain modern CI/CD platforms using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and related tooling.

- Implement and champion true Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices, including automated testing, quality gates, deployment validation, and rollback mechanisms.

- Optimize build, test, and deployment pipelines to reduce lead time and improve developer feedback cycles.

- Build deployment automation that enables safe, frequent, and reliable releases across multiple environments.

- Partner with application teams to improve release processes and eliminate manual deployment activities.

Platform Engineering Cloud Infrastructure

- Develop and maintain cloud-native developer platforms running on Azure and Kubernetes.

- Build reusable infrastructure and deployment patterns using Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform.

- Improve application onboarding, service provisioning, secrets management, and setting management through automation and self-service capabilities.

- Collaborate with Platform Engineering and SRE teams to ensure reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence

Required Skills Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).





- 3-5 years of experience in Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering roles.

- Demonstrated passion for improving developer productivity and software delivery workflows.

- Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

- Experience implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices in production environments.

- Experience building deployment automation and supporting frequent, low-risk software releases.

- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes-based application delivery.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar technologies.

- Proficiency in scripting or software development using Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.

- Experience with observability platforms, monitoring, and software delivery metrics.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence engineering teams and drive adoption of platform solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and self-service engineering capabilities.

- Experience with Backstage or other developer portal technologies.

- Experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD.

- Familiarity with DORA metrics, SPACE framework, or other engineering effectiveness models.

- Experience supporting Kubernetes-based development platforms.

- Experience implementing progressive delivery strategies, feature flags, canary deployments, or blue/green deployments.

- Experience building reusable developer tooling, CLIs, templates, or automation frameworks.

- Experience working within highly regulated environments such as financial services, healthcare, or fintech.

- Azure, Kubernetes, or cloud platform certifications.
