Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Electrician & Maintenance Technician to handle the day-to-day electrical, machinery, utility, and general maintenance requirements of a garment manufacturing factory.

The person will be responsible for ensuring the factory has reliable power, machinery is maintained properly, and all electrical and utility systems are operational throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities1. Factory Electrical Operations

- Switch on and power up the factory electrical systems before production starts.
- Safely power down the factory after production/operations are completed.
- Monitor electrical supply, panels, wiring, switches, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
- Identify and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns quickly.
- Maintain proper electrical safety standards throughout the factory.
- Monitor power consumption and report any abnormal electrical issues.

1. Generator Operation & Maintenance

- Operate and maintain the factory generator.
- Check generator fuel, oil, coolant, battery, and other essential parameters.
- Carry out routine generator inspections and basic maintenance.
- Coordinate generator servicing and major repairs when required.
- Maintain daily generator operation and maintenance records.
- Ensure the generator is ready for use during power failures.

1. RO Water Plant Maintenance

- Operate and monitor the RO water plant.
- Carry out routine checks of pumps, filters, motors, pipes, and electrical connections.
- Monitor water quality and RO plant performance.




- Arrange timely replacement of filters and other consumables.
- Coordinate servicing and repair of the RO plant when required.

1. Garment Machinery Maintenance

- Take responsibility for the electrical and basic maintenance requirements of garment production machines.
- Attend to machine breakdowns and electrical faults.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of sewing machines and other factory machinery.
- Ensure machines are serviced according to the required schedule.
- Identify recurring machine problems and report them to management.
- Coordinate with external technicians/service providers for major machinery repairs.
- Maintain machinery servicing and breakdown records.

1. Preventive Maintenance

- Prepare and follow daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of factory electrical systems, machinery, generator, RO plant, motors, pumps, and other equipment.
- Maintain records of servicing, repairs, breakdowns, and spare parts used.
- Ensure critical spare parts and electrical items are available when required.

1. General Factory Maintenance

- Attend to electrical and maintenance-related issues reported by different departments.
- Maintain factory lights, fans, motors, switches, sockets, wiring, and electrical panels.
- Support maintenance of compressors, pumps, motors, and other utility equipment.
- Coordinate with external electricians, technicians,



and service providers when required.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and with minimum disruption to production.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 3–5+ years of practical electrical and maintenance experience.
- Experience in the garment manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with garment production machinery is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and basic mechanical maintenance.
- Experience operating and maintaining generators.
- Experience with RO water plants is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and machinery breakdowns independently.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.

Important Requirement Candidates with previous experience working as an electrician/maintenance technician in a garment manufacturing factory will be given preference.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
