Role Description The Electrical Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Electrical

Specialist will design, review, and optimize electrical systems and layouts for projects involving connected infrastructure and advanced enterprise solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing electrical calculations, selecting appropriate electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting power generation and distribution planning. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing technical documentation and drawings, troubleshooting electrical issues in office, and supporting commissioning and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to complex systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design and experience developing electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with electrical equipment selection, installation, testing, and maintenance.
- Understanding of power generation and distribution systems, including safety, reliability, and efficiency considerations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience working on industrial, infrastructure, or technology-driven projects, preferably in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work safely in on-site environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with engineering, project management, and operations teams.
