Role Overview The Junior Electrical Design Engineer will support senior engineers in developing electrical MEP design documentation. This role is hands-on and technical, offering exposure to electrical design calculations, drafting, coordination, and learning end-to-end MEP design workflows within a consultancy workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing electrical layouts, power distribution drawings, and lighting layouts
- Perform basic load calculations, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations under guidance
- Prepare electrical schedules, legends, panel schedules, and BOQs
- Support development of SLDs and schematic diagrams
- Coordinate electrical layouts with HVAC and Plumbing services
- Revise drawings based on coordination comments, design reviews,



and client inputs
- Learn and apply applicable electrical codes, standards, and best design practices

Skills & Competencies

- Fundamental understanding of electrical systems in buildings
- Strong drafting and documentation skills
- Willingness to learn MEP coordination and technical design processes

Tools & Software

- AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Revit MEP (preferred)

Experience & Qualification

- 2 to 5 years of experience in Electrical Design (MEP)
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- MEP Course Completion
