ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to perform installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Install and maintain MCCs, distribution panels, motors, transformers, cable trays, lighting systems, and control panels.
- Perform cable laying, glanding, termination, megger/IR testing, continuity checks, and electrical equipment testing.
- Install and maintain field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
- Perform instrument tubing, impulse line installation, junction box connections,



and instrument cable termination.
- Carry out instrument calibration, loop checking, continuity checks, and functional testing.

Requirements:

- Diploma / ITI / Technical qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in electrical installation, instrumentation installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, control circuits, motors, MCCs, and field instruments.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs;, and wiring diagrams.
