Position Overview

Northstar Safety Systemz Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a technically competent EHS Electrical Engineer with strong knowledge of electrical safety, EHS audits, specialized EHS training, and electrical engineering studies.

The candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Safety Audits, EHS Audits, Electrical Risk Assessments, specialized EHS trainings, and advanced electrical engineering studies at client sites across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Electrical Safety Audits at industrial, commercial, manufacturing, infrastructure, and other client facilities.
- Conduct EHS Audits and Risk Assessments and identify unsafe conditions, electrical hazards, and compliance gaps.
- Conduct and support EHS Trainings on electrical safety and other relevant EHS subjects.
- Perform or support Arc Flash Studies / Arc Flash Risk Assessments.
- Perform or support Power Quality Analysis and interpretation of electrical parameters.
- Understand and support Relay Coordination Studies.
- Understand and support Short Circuit Analysis.
- Review electrical systems, protection schemes, switchgear, panels, transformers, DG systems, motors, and associated installations.
- Assess electrical protection systems and identify potential electrical safety risks.
- Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and electrical system documentation.
- Support preparation of detailed technical audit reports, observations, risk classifications, and corrective action recommendations.




- Ensure audits and assessments are conducted in accordance with applicable Indian Standards, CEA regulations, NBC, relevant IEC/IS standards, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Interact with client EHS, electrical, engineering, maintenance, and management teams during site assignments.
- Deliver professional technical presentations and training sessions to client personnel.
- Travel extensively across India for audits, assessments, inspections, and training assignments.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory
- Robust technical understanding of electrical systems and electrical safety.
- Knowledge of relevant IS, IEC, CEA, NBC, and other applicable electrical safety requirements.
- Experience in electrical/EHS audits, inspections, assessments, or training will be preferred.
- Good analytical and technical report-writing skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Ability to independently conduct site audits and technical assessments.
- Willingness to travel PAN India is mandatory.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for a candidate who combines Electrical Engineering expertise with practical EHS knowledge and can independently represent Northstar at client sites.

A candidate with strong electrical fundamentals + EHS audit experience + training capability + willingness to travel PAN India will be highly preferred.

Compensation

CTC will be decided based on the candidate's current CTC, experience, technical competency, and overall suitability for the role.
