Role Description The Education Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role involves engaging with prospective and current learners to understand their educational background, interests, and career goals, and recommending suitable programs accordingly.

The Education

Counselor will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, respond to inquiries via multiple channels, and guide learners through the admission and onboarding process. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions, collaborating with training and marketing teams to align learner expectations with course offerings, and organizing or supporting information sessions, workshops,



and orientation events. The role also requires continuous awareness of industry trends in technology education to provide up-to-date guidance and support.

Qualifications

- Robust Educational Consulting and Education-related experience to guide learners toward appropriate programs and learning paths.
- Demonstrated Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to address academic concerns and support informed career decisions.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information simply.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse learners, with a learner-centric approach and a commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive guidance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related field; relevant certifications in counseling or career guidance are an advantage.
- Familiarity with technology education domains (such as Cloud, Data, AI, or DevOps) or willingness to quickly learn program content and industry trends.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with proficiency in basic office software and CRM or student management tools.
- Prior experience in an educational institution, training organization, or EdTech company is preferred.
