Drone Technician – After Sales Service

Marut Drones is looking for a skilled and hands-on Drone Technician – After Sales Service to join our technical team. The role involves the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of drone systems to ensure reliable performance and operational readiness.

The position is suitable for candidates with a robust technical background and hands-on interest in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and drone systems .

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of drone products and their components.
- Diagnose technical issues and identify the root cause of drone malfunctions.
- Carry out necessary repairs and ensure drones are restored to proper working condition.
- Ensure drones are serviced within the required timelines and according to company maintenance procedures.
- Support the team in resolving technical issues related to drone systems.

Preventive Maintenance & Inspection
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections of drones and their components.
- Check drone systems and components to ensure they are functioning correctly and within operational specifications.
- Identify potential technical issues during inspections and take appropriate corrective action.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance and inspection activities.

Technical Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
- Maintain records of replaced components and spare parts used during servicing.
- Prepare and follow maintenance checklists for different service and repair activities.
- Provide regular updates on maintenance activities and technical issues.

Spare Parts & Inventory Management
- Monitor the availability and usage of spare parts and components.
- Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory.




- Monitor stock levels and coordinate for replacement parts when required.
- Ensure necessary components are available for maintenance and repair activities.

Team Coordination
- Work closely with the Engineering and R&D; teams to report recurring technical issues and provide feedback for product improvements.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure maintenance and repair work meets required quality standards.
- Work effectively with other technical team members to resolve service and maintenance issues.

Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures while handling, maintaining, testing, and repairing drone systems.
- Ensure maintenance activities are performed according to company procedures and applicable requirements.
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment.

Knowledge & Skills Required

- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components used in drone systems.
- Knowledge of drone components, systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to diagnose and repair technical issues in complex systems.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with technical tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify technical faults.
- Strong organisational skills for managing maintenance activities, service records, and spare parts.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a technical team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in maintenance, repair, technical support, or a related role.
- Experience in the drone, aerospace, robotics, electronics, or related technical industry will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in drone maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair are preferred.

Compensation

- Salary: ₹25,000 per month
