Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Draughtsman (Fire Fighting) role based in Mumbai. The Draughtsman will prepare accurate fire protection and fire fighting system drawings, layouts, and schematics using relevant CAD software, in alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with design and project teams, updating drawings as per site conditions and client feedback,



and ensuring that fire suppression and detection systems are clearly represented for installation and execution.

The role also involves maintaining drawing records, supporting documentation for approvals, and collaborating with engineers to resolve design issues. The Draughtsman is expected to follow company safety policies and contribute to timely, high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Fire Protection and Fire Suppression Systems, including their layout, components, and integration.
- Knowledge of Fire Safety and Fire Prevention principles, with awareness of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Familiarity with Life Safety requirements, ensuring safe egress, emergency procedures, and compliance in design documentation.
- Proficiency in CAD drafting software (such as AutoCAD) and ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Diploma or certification in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Fire and Safety, or a related technical field.
- Attention to detail, strong spatial visualization, and ability to produce clear, accurate drawings under deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Prior experience in fire fighting or fire protection projects is preferred; motivated freshers with relevant technical training are also encouraged to apply.
