Summary
Lexitas is seeking a highly capable and hands-on Director of IT & Security to lead our India-based technology and security operations organization. This role serves as the senior technology leader within Lexitas India, responsible for managing day-to-day IT Operations and Information Security functions while ensuring alignment with the global technology strategy established by the CIO/CISO.
The Director will lead a team of approximately 10 resources split between IT Infrastructure Operations and Information Security. The role requires a strong technical leader who is equally comfortable managing people, driving operational excellence, and personally contributing to complex technical and security initiatives.
This position plays a critical role in maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable technology services that support a rapidly growing, compliance-driven business environment.

Leadership & Team Management
- Provide day-to-day leadership for the India IT Operations and Information Security teams.
- Establish team priorities, workload management, performance expectations, and accountability.
- Coach, mentor, and develop technical staff while fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and customer service.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development activities.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for operational and security issues impacting the India organization.
- Participate as a member of the broader Lexitas IT leadership team.
- Collaborate closely with global IT and Security leadership to ensure consistent execution of enterprise standards and initiatives.
IT Infrastructure Operations Leadership
- Ensure the reliable operation, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems, infrastructure, and end-user services.
- Oversee service desk operations, incident management, problem management, change management, and service delivery processes.
- Assist with network, cloud, endpoint, identity, collaboration, and infrastructure operations.
- Manage local technology vendors, support partners, and service providers.
- Monitor service levels, system availability, and operational performance metrics.
- Drive operational efficiencies through automation, process improvement, and adoption of industry best practices.
- Support business growth initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and technology transformation projects.
Areas of Technical Oversight
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Active Directory and Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
- Okta Identity and Access Management
- Endpoint management platforms
- Atlassian product suite
- ITSM platforms and service management processes
- Enterprise networking technologies
- Cloud infrastructure environments (AWS preferred, Azure acceptable)
- Collaboration, productivity, and communication technologies
- Information Security Leadership
- Manage local GRC and SOC resources while maintaining close functional alignment with the VP of Information Security.
- Support security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, risk assessments, and remediation efforts.
- Assist in maintaining and improving enterprise security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Participate in security investigations and incident management activities.
- Promote security awareness and security-first thinking throughout the organization.
- Ensure security controls are effectively implemented and maintained across infrastructure, cloud, endpoint, and identity environments.
Governance, Risk, & Compliance
- Support and maintain compliance programs including:
- SOC 2
- HIPAA
- Customer security assessments and RFPs
- Internal control audits
- Coordinate audit activities, evidence collection, remediation planning, and control management.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and mitigate technology and security risks.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
- 7+ years managing technical teams and direct reports, including recent experience with matrixed reporting relationships.
- Experience leading both IT Operations and Information Security functions.
- Experience operating in a global or multinational organization.
- Experience supporting regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise security programs.
- Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution.
