Job Responsibilities





Accountable for site procurement activities for direct sourcing -Electrical at multiple location in India

Develop vendor base for spares and tools, BOP, Cranes, Annual Maintenance Contracts, Part replacement, Consumables, Manpower for installation, commissioning, and maintenance and all project site related activities.

Manage team of 2 buyers for release of orders, follow-ups, and escalation management

Supplier relations, negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.

Site inventory tracking to maintain minimum stock level

Preparing cost estimates for buying plan

Manage company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending.

Work with Global Sourcing teams to drive the cost down

Work independently with stakeholders from Projects, Operation and Maintenance, Legal, Engineering etc. to drive initiatives and performance.

Develop cutting-edge procurement strategies to reduce cost and deliver parts on time.

Focus on strategic actions through alternate sourcing / indigenization of key components.

Understand the MNRE / Customs Tariff for major commodities.

Contract Management skills.

Vendor Development & Relationship.

Forecasting through Analyse market condition and define future ready supply chain module

Position Qualifications

Preferably looking for a candidate coming from Wind Industry with project procurement background

Experience – 10 -15 years

This will be an Individual Contributor role.
