Role Description The DGM Safety role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur, responsible for overseeing and strengthening safety practices across plant operations. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements. The individual will conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections, and lead incident and accident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating safety training programs, promoting a robust safety culture, ensuring compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) norms,



and preparing reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. The role also requires close collaboration with operations, maintenance, and HR teams to drive continuous improvement in occupational health and safety performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices relevant to heavy industry or manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management, including regulatory compliance and implementation of EHS systems.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Safety Training, including designing and delivering safety programs and toolbox talks for diverse teams.
- Candidates should possess experience in Accident Investigation, incident reporting, and root cause analysis with follow-through on corrective and preventive actions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree/diploma in Engineering, Safety, or Industrial Hygiene, along with certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in plant safety management, preferably in cement, construction, or similar process industries.
- Robust knowledge of Indian safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Effective communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive safety initiatives across all levels of the organization.
