Job Overview

As a Technical Manager / Development Manager, you will take on a leadership role in managing a team of developers, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of Angular-based web applications. You will be responsible for guiding the architectural and technical direction of projects, maintaining high coding standards, and ensuring the seamless execution of development activities. Your leadership and technical expertise will help drive the success of our projects and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers specializing in Angular development to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-performance within the development team.

Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to junior and senior developers, helping them to grow professionally and meet their career goals.

Set clear goals, track team progress, and ensure alignment with overall project objectives and company goals.

Project Management

Oversee the complete software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful project execution.

Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring that deadlines are met, risks are mitigated, and resources are properly allocated.

Conduct regular code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to ensure quality and process improvement.

Technical Leadership

Lead the architecture and design of complex Angular applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and front-end development best practices.

Provide hands-on technical leadership by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code and guiding the team in coding best practices.





Ensure the team adheres to established coding standards and best practices in terms of architecture, design, testing, and deployment.

Stakeholder Communication

Act as the primary point of contact for technical discussions with stakeholders, including business users, architects, and other project teams.

Communicate project status, issues, and risks to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Collaborate with product owners and UX/UI teams to align technical development with business requirements and user experience objectives.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement:

Ensure that the team follows best practices for software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and test-driven development (TDD).

Champion the adoption of new tools, technologies, and frameworks to improve development efficiency and product quality.

Drive process improvements by identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the development workflow and implementing solutions.

Innovation & Technology Evolution:

Evaluate and integrate current technologies and tools to enhance development workflows, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.

Keep the team informed on emerging technologies in Angular development and encourage the adoption of innovative solutions.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: 8-15 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience in Angular development.

Angular Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Angular 2+, including building complex, large-scale web applications, working with components, directives, services, and RxJS.

JavaScript & TypeScript: Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, and a deep understanding of modern front-end web technologies.

Front-End Frameworks & Libraries:



Familiarity with front-end libraries and tools like RxJS, NGRX, Bootstrap, and SCSS.

UI/UX Collaboration: Ability to work closely with UI/UX teams to translate business and technical requirements into seamless and user-friendly interfaces.

Backend Integration: Experience integrating Angular applications with back-end APIs (RESTful or GraphQL), understanding of JSON and API consumption.

Version Control: Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with branching strategies (GitFlow).

Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a focus on iterative development, continuous integration, and sprint-based work.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage development teams, effectively delegating tasks and providing technical mentorship.

Soft Skills: Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Desirable Skills

CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI for automating build and deployment pipelines.

Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, or other testing frameworks for Angular applications.

Cloud Platforms: Experience with deploying Angular applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Server-Side Frameworks: Familiarity with server-side frameworks such as Node.js, Express, or NestJS to bridge front-end and back-end development.

Performance Optimization: Experience optimizing the performance of Angular applications, including lazy loading, code splitting, and efficient state management.

Database Knowledge: Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL, for backend integration.

Design Patterns: Strong understanding of design patterns and architecture principles (MVC, MVVM, SOLID, etc.).
