Role Description The Design & Estimation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Rajkot Area. The role involves preparing designs and technical specifications for electrical distribution and automation panels in line with project requirements and industry standards. The engineer will develop detailed project estimations and Bills of Quantities (BOQs), evaluate technical documents and drawings, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely proposals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical and cost analyses,



supporting tender and bid preparation, and collaborating with procurement and sales teams on pricing and vendor discussions. The role also includes liaising with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements, providing technical support during project execution, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and quality practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation for electrical projects.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to electrical installations and project execution.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for vendor interactions, pricing discussions, and client proposals.
- Candidates should possess research skills to analyze technical standards, market rates, and emerging technologies in electrical and renewable energy solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in design and estimation for electrical panels, industrial electrical systems, or renewable energy projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.
