Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare preliminary designs and technical calculations in accordance with international codes and standards such as ASME, TEMA, PD 5500, and other applicable specifications.
- Develop project cost estimates based on preliminary designs, including material requirements, manufacturing inputs, duties, and other commercial considerations.
- Optimise design, material quantities, and raw material selection to achieve the most competitive cost while maintaining technical and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to develop new products and arrive at the most competitive pricing.
- Prepare, review, and authorise technical-commercial proposals and quotations, ensuring timely submission against firm enquiries with strong order potential.
- Float and follow up on material enquiries with suppliers,



negotiate and secure competitive material rates, and monitor trends in raw material prices and duty structures.
- Analyse and summarise firm enquiries and quoted proposals, identifying cost trends, commercial opportunities, and areas for pricing optimisation.

Requirements:

- Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Estimation / Costing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and PV Elite software for design and estimation activities.
- Solid knowledge of international codes, standards, and procedures, including ASME, TEMA, and ISO systems.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, process sequences, material requirements, and production methods.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems with the ability to manage estimation and costing-related data effectively.
- Demonstrated result orientation, decision-making, customer-centricity, and effective communication skills with strong execution focus.
