Position: Design Engineer (Fixed-Wing / VTOL & CFD Specialist)

Location: Gurugram / Manesar, Haryana

Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Requirements & Focus Area

- Specialized Expertise: This position specifically requires direct qualified experience in Fixed-Wing or VTOL airframe design and ANSYS CFD aerodynamic analysis.
- We are seeking candidates with active R&D; design experience. Please note that candidates whose background is exclusively focused on multi-rotor/quadcopter platforms, drone piloting, or field maintenance will not be suitable for this specific role.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct aerodynamic (lift, drag) and thermal CFD simulations using ANSYS (Fluent/CFX).
- Design lightweight fixed-wing/VTOL airframes, internal structures, and composite assemblies in SolidWorks / Fusion 360.




- Prepare production-ready 2D technical drawings with GD&T; for composite molding and CNC machining.
- Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and avionics teams for weight distribution and system integration.

Qualifications

- Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Design Engineering.
- Experience: 2–5 years of dedicated UAV aerodynamic R&D;, CFD modeling, and CAD design.
- Core Software: ANSYS (Fluent/CFX/Workbench), SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD.
- Materials: Carbon fiber composites, engineering polymers, and lightweight alloys.
