Qualification :Graduate in Engineering / Diploma

Experience: 15+ years

WORK LOCATION: PONDICHERRY

Handling procurement activities in the manufacturing sector, preferably from auto component / machining.

Knowledge of inventory controls

Knowledge of stores activities

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for planning day to day material requirements for the unit covering raw materials, consumables , tools, indirect materials, capital goods, subcontracted materials / services, as required

Responsible for the on-time procurement of materials and ensuring their availability according to the production plan

Manage procurement processes for the unit, including documentation, purchase orders, supplier payments, rejection handling and subcontracting activities

Responsible for managing the Unit procurement team
