About the Role

Furry Delights Private Limited is looking for a reliable, responsible, and hardworking Delivery & Field Operations Executive to manage product deliveries, order packing and verification, sample distribution, payment collection, banking work, and other field and office-related responsibilities.

The role will involve handling pet medicines, dog & cat food, and pet accessories, with deliveries to retail shops, commercial clients, veterinary/pet businesses, and other customers across Kolkata and nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Dispatch

Safely transport and deliver pet medicines, dog & cat food, and pet accessories from the Madhyamgram location.

Deliver orders to both retail and commercial clients.

Ensure products are handled carefully and delivered safely and on time.

Follow daily dispatch schedules and complete assigned deliveries efficiently.

Order Packing & Verification

Pack orders accurately as per the invoice.

Match products, quantities, and batch numbers with the invoice before dispatch.

Cross-check all cartons/packages before loading.

Verify invoices and delivery bills against physical products before handing over the order to the customer.

Sample Management

Carry product sample boxes to existing and prospective retail and commercial clients as required.

Ensure the correct samples are provided according to customer requirements.

Properly present and hand over samples to merchants and customers.

Route Planning

Plan efficient delivery routes across Madhyamgram, Kolkata, and nearby areas.

Manage multiple deliveries efficiently to save time and meet daily dispatch schedules.

Coordinate with the office regarding delivery status, delays, or route-related issues.

Payment Collection

Collect Cash on Delivery (COD) payments from retail and commercial customers.





Receive digital payments as required.

Collect cheques and other authorized payments.

Obtain signed delivery acknowledgments/proofs of delivery where required.

Safely maintain and submit collected cash, cheques, and payment records to the office.

Banking & Office Errands

Deposit collected cash and cheques at the bank as instructed.

Handle routine banking-related work.

Assist with other authorized office errands and field requirements.

Support the warehouse and office team with day-to-day operational activities.

Mandatory Requirements

Valid two-wheeler driving licence is mandatory.

Candidate must be comfortable travelling across Madhyamgram, Kolkata, and nearby areas for daily deliveries.

Good knowledge of local roads and routes will be an advantage.

Honest and trustworthy, particularly when handling medicines, products, cash, cheques, and documents.

Good attention to detail when checking invoices, quantities, and batch numbers.

Positive communication and customer-handling skills.

Punctual, disciplined, and comfortable working independently.

Physically fit and comfortable with regular field travel.

Experience

Previous experience in delivery, dispatch, FMCG, pharmaceutical, veterinary, pet-care, or field operations will be an advantage.
