Role: Manager Deals

Location: Bangalore, Gurugram

What does this role entail?

At PwC, our DDV team helps clients plan and execute complex integration and separation programs across the deal lifecycle, with a strong focus on delivering Day 1 readiness, business continuity, and post-close value realization. We support clients through mergers, acquisitions,

and divestitures by developing integration and separation strategies, driving Day 1 and Day 100

planning, and ensuring effective execution across functional areas such as Finance, IT, HR,

and Supply Chain.

As a Manager, you will lead key workstreams across sign-to-close and post-close phases,

including integration/separation planning, TSA design and execution, and program governance.

You will manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment while tracking execution against value creation objectives. This role requires strong program management, problem-

solving, and stakeholder management skills to operate effectively in fast-paced deal environment and deliver successful transaction outcomes.





Core responsibilities as a Manager would entail (but not limited to)



Own and deliver Integration/Separation workstreams end-to-end, ensuring timely, high-

quality execution.









Lead Day 1 readiness and Day 100 planning, including detailed execution roadmaps and governance structures.

Drive Integration and Separation planning across functional areas (Finance, IT, HR, Supply

Chain), ensuring alignment to deal objectives.

Support TSA lifecycle including scope definition, service cataloging, negotiation support,

and execution/exit management.

Establish and manage program governance, including RAID logs, dependency tracking,

and stakeholder reporting.





Track synergy delivery, separation milestones, and value realization against defined targets.

Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing senior stakeholders and cross-

functional teams.





Drive problem-solving in complex, ambiguous deal environments with a focus on execution.

Coach and review work of junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency of deliverables.







Support business development, proposals, and internal practice initiatives.

Collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams.

Leverage data, analytics,



and GenAI-enabled tools to enhance delivery efficiency and insights.

Must-have skills

Good-to-have skills







Solid experience in M&A; Integration,

Separation, and/or carve-out engagements.







Experience in synergy identification,

tracking, and value capture.

Exposure to operating model design and functional integration.

Hands-on experience in sign-to-close and post-close phases, including Day 1

readiness and execution.

Familiarity with carve-out planning,

stand-alone setup, and stranded cost considerations.

Expertise in Integration and Separation planning across one or more functional areas (e.g., Finance, IT, HR, Supply

Chain).







Experience working in global delivery or distributed team models.

Prior consulting experience across strategy, operations, or transformation.





Experience in TSA design, structuring, and execution management.

Exposure to data analytics tools or

GenAI-enabled platforms.

Strong program/project management skills, including governance and multi-

workstream coordination.



Proven ability to manage stakeholders in fast-paced, high-pressure deal environments.





Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with ability to synthesize insights.

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and

Word.

Eligibility Criteria







MBA in Finance/Strategy or related field from a premium B-School

Past Experience: 7-9 years of prior relevant work experience

Experience in M&A; or management consulting domain
