Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in Guidewire DataHub Infocenter, SQL, and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Property & Casualty (P&C;) Personal Lines, specifically with Guidewire Policy Center. This role requires a proactive individual who can analyze complex requirements and deliver high quality software solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Guidewire DataHub and Policy Center.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data integration and ETL processes.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of data through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.




- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Guidewire and data management.

Mandatory Skills:

- 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Guidewire DataHub and Policy Center.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL processes.
- In depth knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C;) Personal Lines insurance domain.
- Experience in data modeling and data integration techniques.
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with other Guidewire products such as Billing Center and Claim Center.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and data warehousing solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Guidewire or data management are a plus.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
