Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with 2–3+ years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, SQL, Python, Snowflake, and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have experience building and optimizing scalable data pipelines, working with cloud-based data platforms, and supporting data integration, transformation, and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for processing large volumes of data.

- Develop data integration and transformation workflows using Azure data services.

- Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lake solutions.

- Write efficient and scalable SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and automation.

- Work with Snowflake for data warehousing, data loading, query optimization, and performance tuning, where applicable.

- Develop and maintain workflow orchestration and data pipeline processes.

- Implement CI/CD practices and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and other business stakeholders.

- Ensure data quality, security, governance, and reliability across data platforms.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, data quality,



and performance-related issues.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Engineering services.

- Robust proficiency in SQL and Python.

- Good understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing, and data lake concepts.

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.

- Experience working with cloud-based data solutions and modern data engineering practices.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake is highly preferred.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Apache Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools is a plus.

- Experience with large-scale data migration and modernization projects is a plus.

- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

- Relevant Azure, Snowflake, or cloud certifications are a plus.
