Job Details

- Work Mode: On-site

- Experience: 5 12 years

- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Quantity Surveying, or related field

- Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare CAPEX estimates, BOQs/BOMs and cost plans for greenfield and brownfield data center projects.

- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, SLDs, layouts, specifications and equipment schedules.

- Estimate major Electrical, Mechanical, ELV, Civil and Architectural MEP packages.

- Prepare unit-rate analysis covering materials, equipment, installation, testing commissioning, logistics and manpower.

- Review RFQs/RFPs, tender documents and specifications and identify scope gaps, risks and exclusions.

- Coordinate with vendors/OEMs/subcontractors for quotations and prepare technical commercial comparison statements.

- Support vendor negotiations, tender pricing and value-engineering initiatives.

- Understand data center redundancy concepts such as N, N+1, 2N and 2N+1 and their cost impact.

- Develop cost benchmarks such as cost/MW, cost/rack and cost/sq.ft.

- Maintain historical cost databases and market rate benchmarks.





Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical systems.

- Ability to read SLDs, PIDs, layouts and technical specifications.

- Strong BOQ, estimation, and commercial skills.

- Advanced MS Excel proficiency.

- Knowledge of Uptime/Tier, TIA-942, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC/IS standards is preferred.

- Experience with CostX, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Candy, BIM/Revit/Navisworks is an advantage.
