About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst specializing in healthcare data to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst-Healthcare, you will play a critical role in analyzing large-scale healthcare datasets, including claims, eligibility, provider, utilization, and quality data. Your expertise will support the development of scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure, automation of system health monitoring, and enhancement of data integration processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, operations, and clinical stakeholders, to translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive process documentation, data flow diagrams, and supporting analytics initiatives aligned with healthcare programs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with US healthcare analytics, including benefits, claims, and eligibility data, is required. Proficiency in SQL is essential for querying and analyzing healthcare datasets effectively.

Familiarity with modern data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake and MySQL, along with a solid understanding of data modeling and integration techniques, is necessary.





Experience in creating healthcare process and data flow documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst-Healthcare, your responsibilities will include:

- Performing healthcare data analysis and reporting by analyzing large datasets such as claims, provider information, utilization, and quality metrics to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze healthcare data from relational databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Conducting data validation, reconciliation, and transformation activities to prepare data for reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Supporting healthcare data modeling and integration efforts by working with Snowflake, MySQL, and related platforms to develop data marts and analytics layers.
- Collaborating with data engineering teams to ensure reliable data ingestion and seamless integration from source systems like claims processing platforms, provider databases, and eligibility feeds.
- Supporting analytics initiatives focused on value-based care, population health, quality improvement, and operational efficiency to enhance healthcare delivery outcomes.
- Creating detailed process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visualizations using tools such as Microsoft Visio or draw.io to document healthcare data workflows.
- Documenting healthcare business rules, data definitions, metrics logic, and reporting methodologies to promote standardization and clarity across teams.
- Partnering with stakeholders from Healthcare Operations, Finance,



Clinical, Quality, and Compliance teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Presenting findings, trends, and actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional teams to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
