About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst specialized in healthcare data analysis and modeling to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in MS SQL, healthcare data integration, and statistical analysis. In this role, you will be instrumental in building scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure, implementing monitoring systems for automated health checks, and developing continuous integration pipelines.
Your expertise will support our efforts to analyze large-scale US healthcare datasets, including claims, provider, utilization, and quality data, to derive actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including healthcare operations, finance, clinical, and compliance, to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, healthcare analytics, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with US healthcare datasets, including benefits, claims, and eligibility data, is required.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing healthcare data is essential, along with familiarity with Snowflake, MySQL, and modern data warehousing concepts.
Experience creating healthcare process flows and data flow documentation using tools such as Microsoft Visio or draw.io is highly desirable. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills are critical for success in this role. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex data insights into clear, actionable reports.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst in Healthcare, your responsibilities will include analyzing large healthcare datasets, developing and optimizing complex SQL queries, and performing data validation, reconciliation, and transformation to support accurate reporting for business and regulatory compliance. You will work with Snowflake, MySQL, and related platforms to support healthcare data models, marts, and analytics layers, ensuring reliable data ingestion and integration from source systems such as claims processing and provider systems. Supporting analytics initiatives related to value-based care, population health, quality improvement, and operational efficiency will be integral to your role.
You will create detailed process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system architecture visuals to document healthcare data workflows, business rules, data definitions, and reporting methodologies. Partnering with stakeholders across healthcare operations, finance, clinical, quality, and compliance teams, you will translate complex healthcare data into clear insights,
presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Your role will also involve supporting the standardization of metrics aligned with healthcare programs and reporting frameworks, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all data outputs.
