Objective: The Cybersecurity Engineer – AMC / OT Security Support will be responsible for providing post-implementation cybersecurity support, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and compliance assistance for OT / ICS environments such as SCADA, EMS, DMS, DCS, PLC, RTU, PPC, BESS, HEMS, and other industrial automation systems.

The role focuses on ensuring the secure and reliable operation of customer OT systems under Annual Maintenance Contract obligations. The engineer will support cybersecurity health checks, vulnerability assessment coordination, access control review, firewall rule review, antivirus/EDR monitoring, patch coordination, backup verification, incident response support, security hardening, compliance documentation, and SLA-based issue closure.

The objective of this role is to maintain the cybersecurity posture of live OT environments, reduce security risks, ensure compliance with applicable standards, and provide timely technical support to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

OT / ICS Cybersecurity AMC Support:

- Provide AMC support for OT/ICS cybersecurity systems including SCADA, EMS, DMS, PLC, RTU, PPC, BESS, and related platforms.
- Perform periodic security health checks, preventive maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Monitor security alerts, logs, antivirus/EDR status, backups, and system health.
- Ensure support activities are completed within agreed SLA timelines.

Security Monitoring & Incident Support:
- Monitor security events and investigate abnormal activities, malware alerts, and access violations.
- Support incident analysis,



root cause identification, and corrective actions.
- Prepare incident and RCA reports for customer review.

Vulnerability & Risk Management:
- Support vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities.
- Coordinate with customers, OEMs, and internal teams for mitigation and closure.
- Maintain vulnerability and risk tracking records.

Firewall, Network & Access Control:
- Review firewall rules, network segmentation, and access control configurations.
- Support troubleshooting of OT network and communication security issues.
- Coordinate secure connectivity and remote access requirements.

System Hardening, Patch & Endpoint Security:
- Support system hardening, security configuration reviews, and baseline compliance.
- Coordinate patch management activities and maintenance windows.
- Monitor antivirus/EDR status, backups, and restoration validation.

Compliance & Documentation:
- Support compliance activities related to IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, and customer requirements.
- Prepare security health check reports, audit evidence, compliance records, and service reports.
- Maintain asset inventory, access records, patch records, and security documentation.

Technical Coordination & Customer Support:
- Coordinate with OT, IT, networking, OEM, and customer teams for issue resolution.
- Support cybersecurity reviews, maintenance planning, audits, and customer meetings.
- Provide technical guidance for system changes, access requests, and onboarding activities.

Continuous Improvement

- Recommend cybersecurity improvements and best practices for OT environments.
- Identify recurring issues and support process enhancements.
- Share knowledge and contribute to capability development within the team.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in engineering (CSE,



IT, EEE, ECE, EIE, Cybersecurity) or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in Cybersecurity, OT security, ICS security, SCADA security, network security, or industrial automation support.

• Experience in maintaining, supporting, commissioning, or troubleshooting ICS systems such as SCADA, EMS, DCS, PLC, RTU, PPC, BESS, or industrial control systems.

- Experience in OT cybersecurity AMC, managed security support, post-implementation support, warranty support, or service delivery will be preferred.
- Good understanding of industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus TCP, IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, DNP3, HART, and related OT communication protocols.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443 / ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82, NERC CIP, ISO 27001, and related OT security guidelines.
- Ability to prepare technical and non-technical documents for automation teams, security teams, operations teams, customer management, and senior stakeholders.
- Security certifications such as GICSP, CSSA, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, IEC 62443 certification, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites based on AMC support requirements (60% – 70%).
