About the Company

Wood Be Done is a premium interior design studio with an in-house manufacturing facility in Shamshabad, equipped with Homag & Altendorfmachinery and an in house full execution team. We handle design, production and installation entirely in-house across 30–40 live projects at a time. Our work has been featured in Architectural Digest and Elle Decor.

About the Role The Cut List Executive converts approved design drawings into accurate, production-ready cutting lists and CNC files. Every board that gets cut in our factory passes through this desk first, making accuracy and attention to detail the single most important requirement of the role.

Responsibilities

- Convert approved SketchUp and/or AutoCAD models into panel-wise cutting lists using SmartWop
- Prepare and process nesting programs in SmartWOP for Homag CNC machines
- Optimise board layouts to maximise material yield and reduce wastage
- Prepare Bill of Materials covering boards, laminates, edge banding, and hardware
- Specify edge banding, grain direction, and machining details for each panel
- Generate part numbering and labelling for factory and site traceability




- Verify drawings against site measurements and flag discrepancies before production
- Coordinate with the design team, factory manager and purchase team
- Maintain project-wise records of cut lists, revisions, and material consumption

- Requirements
- Experience with cutting list or nesting software (OpenCutList, SmartWOP, Cabinet Vision, Woodwop, or similar) is added bonus
- Strong command of measurements and dimensions in millimetres
- Understanding of modular furniture construction — carcass, shutters, drawers, hinges, channels, edge banding
- Working knowledge of Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to commute to or relocate near Shamshabad, Hyderabad

Preferred

- Prior experience in a modular kitchen or wardrobe manufacturing unit
- Exposure to Homag machinery
- Familiarity with standard Indian panel sizes and 8x4 board optimisation
- Working knowledge of English, Telugu and Hindi
