Summary

As a Python QA Senior you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests for software applications and systems also building robust Python-based test automation frameworks, validating functional and non-functional requirements, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software releases.

The role involves close collaboration with developers, architects, system engineers, and QA teams to define test strategies, automate test scenarios, analyze failures, and continuously improve test coverage and quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks and scripts.
- Create and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and API tests.
- Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Automate repetitive test cases and improve overall test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Perform API testing using tools such as REST API, Postman, or Python-based frameworks.
- Identify, analyze, and track defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
- Investigate test failures and perform root-cause analysis in collaboration with development teams.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Generate and maintain test reports, execution results,



and QA metrics.
- Participate in requirements reviews, test planning, defect triage, and release activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, automation frameworks, and QA practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming and automation scripting.
- Experience with PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, Python libraries, exception handling, file handling, and data processing.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, REST APIs, Requests, or similar tools.
- Valuable understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab and version-control practices.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
- Experience in Linux/Windows environments and command-line scripting.
- Positive understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect life cycle.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, or similar.
- Experience in automotive, embedded, ADAS, ECU, or IoT testing is an added advantage.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of software quality and testing methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing activities.
- Good debugging and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional teams.

Additional Information
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
