Job Position : CT/ MRI TECHNICIAN

Location : Bengaluru Rural (Hoskote).

Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology

· DMRIT / DMRT

· B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology / Radiology Technology

Compensation : Commensurate with qualification and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To mainly operate MRI machine.
2. May be required to work on CT scanner and other radiology equipments.
3. To ensure availability of a proper written requisition of a doctor before starting the

test.
1. To ensure that proper billing has been done.
2. To take consent of the patient.
3. To confirm pregnancy status where applicable, and consult the Radiologist in case of any doubt.. In case of doubt consult the

radiologist.
1. To ensure that nobody enters the area with a metal object on his/her body.
2.



To remove all metal objects from the body of the patient.
3. To help the patient in changing from street dress to hospital dress without affecting

patient dignity and privacy.
1. To ensure proper positioning of the patient on the examination table.
2. To take brief history of the patient.
3. To position the patient on the table.
4. To enter patient data in the MRI computer (Console).
5. To continuously observe patient through glass window throughout the procedure.
6. To maintain patient comfort and safety during transportation in and out of the

department and during the examination.
1. To select and modify technical parameters and sequences in the machine to obtain

best possible images.
1. To follow established protocols.
2. Keep monitoring the quality of the pictures.
3. Should not hesitate to talk to referring consultant in case of any doubt.
4. To perform MR Angiograms as per doctor's requisition.
