Job Role: Sales Executive - Crane Rental

Reports To: Country Sales Head

Job Purpose:

To generate new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and achieve the individual sales targets assigned by management while maximizing revenue and profitability through the rental of cranes and lifting solutions.

Business Development:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, infrastructure, renewable energy, and other target sectors.
- Generate new sales leads through client visits, networking, referrals, cold calling, and market intelligence.
- Conduct regular customer visits to promote the company's crane rental services.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline of prospective customers.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with both existing and potential clients.
- Identify upcoming projects and business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Sales Activities:

- Achieve the individual monthly and annual sales and revenue targets assigned by management.
- Receive customer inquiries and obtain complete technical and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with the Engineering and Operations teams for crane selection and quotation preparation if required.
- Submit quotations to customers within the required timeframe.
- Conduct continuous follow-up on all quotations until a final decision is received.
- Lead commercial negotiations with customers to secure the highest possible rental rates while maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Maximize the commercial value of every opportunity by protecting company margins and avoiding unnecessary discounts.
- Seek support from the Sales Manager whenever negotiations exceed delegated authority or strategic intervention is required.
- Secure Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure all agreed commercial terms are clearly communicated internally.
- Support customer registration and prequalification whenever required.





Customer Relationship Management:

- Maintain excellent relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle.
- Ensure prompt response to customer requests and inquiries.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and coordinate internally for timely resolution.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to identify repeat business opportunities.

Market Intelligence:

- Monitor competitor activities, market pricing, and industry developments.
- Identify new projects, tenders, and potential customers.
- Provide regular market feedback and competitor information to management.
- Continuously explore opportunities to increase the company's market share.

Internal Coordination:

- Coordinate with Operations regarding crane availability, mobilization, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with Engineering for technical proposals and crane configurations.
- Ensure all required documents and customer information are completed before job execution.
- Work closely with Finance, Contracts, and other departments to facilitate smooth project execution.

Reporting:

- Maintain an updated sales pipeline and prospect database.
- Submit weekly customer visit reports and sales activity reports.
- Keep CRM and sales records updated at all times.
- Submit monthly sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Report market developments and significant customer feedback to management.

Experience:

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in crane rental or heavy equipment rental.
- Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience within the region of assignment (e.g., Riyadh, Eastern Province, Jeddah), with an established customer network and market knowledge.
