About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lawyer with 5–6 years of litigation experience to work with us on a retainership basis. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in litigation, court proceedings, legal drafting, legal research, and providing practical legal advice. The candidate will be responsible for handling assigned legal matters and providing ongoing legal support as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle and advise on civil, commercial, corporate, and other litigation matters.
- Represent and appear before courts, tribunals, and other legal authorities, as required.
- Draft and review legal notices, plaints, written statements, petitions, applications, replies, rejoinders, affidavits, appeals, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal opinions and advice on business and litigation-related matters.
- Conduct legal research and analyze relevant laws, judgments, rules, and regulations.
- Review contracts, agreements, notices, and other legal documents.
- Develop appropriate legal strategies and advise on potential legal risks.
- Handle and monitor ongoing cases, including hearing dates, filings, court orders, and deadlines.
- Coordinate with advocates, senior counsels, courts, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with negotiations, settlements, dispute resolution, and other legal proceedings.




- Provide timely updates and recommendations on ongoing legal matters.
- Maintain proper records of cases, legal documents, notices, and correspondence.
- Ensure confidentiality of all sensitive business and legal information.
- Provide legal assistance and consultation whenever required by the organization.

Requirements

- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 5–6 years of relevant litigation experience.
- Valid Bar Council enrollment.
- Strong courtroom and litigation exposure.
- Excellent knowledge of Indian laws and legal procedures.
- Strong legal drafting, research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle legal matters and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional approach with high integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in civil and commercial litigation.
- Experience handling business and corporate legal matters.
- Robust courtroom representation and case-management experience.
- Ability to provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice.

Engagement Terms

- Engagement: Retainership basis
- Experience: 5–6 years
- Retainer Fee: To be mutually discussed based on experience and scope of work.
- Availability: As per agreed retainership terms.
- Court appearances/additional assignments: To be mutually agreed upon, wherever applicable.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
