Position - Chief Operating Officer COO

Role Purpose To oversee and manage the daily operations of a company, ensuring that business strategies are implemented effectively and that the company achieves its goals. This includes focusing on operational efficiency, strategic alignment, and financial stewardship.

Qualification

B.Sc./M Sc. Chemistry or

B.E./B. Tech.- Chemical Engineering

Pref. from premier institute

Years of experience

20 Years of handling manufacturing operations of specialty Chemical Manufacturing company having multi locations (out of which at least five years must as COO or CMO or cluster Manufacturing Head reporting to Director only)

Key Focus Area

- Implementing Director’s Vision of Operation Excellence to translate into actionable plans and objectives.
- Strategic & operational leadership with specialty chemical manufacturing background from the organization with at least 1000cr + turnover / 1000 + employee

- To manage export market manufacturing of chemicals by having acumen towards regulatory affairs & supply chain.
- To control EHS function by developing great safety culture, managing risk, operating with utmost sustainability & process safety.
- To strive to optimize and improve existing & new processes, reducing waste and increasing operational efficiency by R&D; & innovations management
- To identify areas for improvement in various operational functions, such as manufacturing, supply chain, EHS, HR & Admin, and Pilot Plant.
- To ensures that products or services are delivered consistently on time and meet quality standards as per customer needs
- Oversee risk management, operation efficiency improvement, and profit maximization.
- Ensuring Cross-functional Alignment, conflict management & smooth execution
- To foster collaboration and communication between different departments,



ensuring everyone is working towards the same goal
- To tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operations
- To manages the company's budget, allocating resources effectively and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- To analyze financial performance reports & providing insights & ensure Operational Profitability
- To evaluate company's financial, operational and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase of operating efficiencies.
- To ensure the company is staffed with well-trained, quality, and engaged employees at all times; works on effective hiring, training, and compensation plans to retain quality talent
- To manage the SCM, Purchase, Admin, HR & other related strategy, policy formulation, ERP/IT System and processes
- To initiate & implement new ideas for better efficiency.
- To regularly evaluate operating procedures and create centralized best practices within different sites to ensure uniform performance throughout the organization.
