We are hiring for the role of Control Tower Executive - Warehouse Operations on an urgent basis for Gurgaon location.
Salary: 3.5 LPA - 4.5 LPA
Experience: 3 Years - 5 Years
Key Responsibilities1. Control Tower & Operations Monitoring
- Monitor daily warehouse operations across multiple locations.
- Track order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, pending orders, and operational backlogs.
- Maintain real-time visibility of warehouse performance through MIS, dashboards, and operational reports.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, delays, and exceptions and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Escalate critical issues to the concerned managers and stakeholders.
2. Order & Dispatch Monitoring
- Monitor order flow from order receipt to warehouse dispatch.
- Track pending, delayed, cancelled, and stuck orders.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure orders are processed within defined TAT.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and identify deviations from planned timelines.
- Coordinate with logistics/transportation teams for dispatch-related issues.
3. Inventory Monitoring
- Monitor inventory availability across warehouses.
- Track stock discrepancies, negative inventory, ageing inventory, and stock-outs.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor inter-warehouse stock transfers and ensure timely movement.
- Highlight inventory-related exceptions that may impact order fulfilment.
4. Warehouse Performance Monitoring
- Track key warehouse KPIs such as:
- Order processing TAT
- Pick & pack productivity
- Dispatch TAT
- Order backlog
- Inventory accuracy
- Cancellation rate
- Short/Excess inventory
- Damage and loss
- Return processing
- Prepare daily/weekly performance reports and share insights with management.
- Identify recurring operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
5. Exception Management
- Act as the first-level escalation point for warehouse operational exceptions.
- Track issues such as system errors, inventory mismatches, delayed dispatches, order holds, manpower shortages, and process deviations.
- Maintain an exception tracker with issue, owner, action taken, and closure status.
- Follow up with respective teams until issues are resolved within agreed timelines.
6. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with warehouse managers, operations teams, inventory teams, logistics partners, customer service, sales, and other internal departments.
- Ensure timely communication of operational priorities and urgent requirements.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on pending operational issues.
- Support management in coordinating operations during peak sales periods and campaigns.
7. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily operational MIS and dashboards.
- Consolidate data from multiple warehouses and identify trends and deviations.
- Provide actionable insights rather than only reporting numbers.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse performance and operational exceptions.
- Support management with ad-hoc reports and analysis as required.
8. Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in existing warehouse processes and suggest improvements.
- Support implementation of SOPs, controls, and standard operating processes.
- Analyse recurring issues and support root-cause analysis.
- Work towards improving operational efficiency, order fulfilment, and inventory accuracy.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of warehouse and order fulfilment processes.
- Strong command of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to work with MIS, dashboards, and operational data.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple warehouses and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak periods.
Preferred Knowledge
- Experience with WMS, ERP, OMS, or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of e-commerce warehouse operations.
- Understanding of order lifecycle, inventory movement, returns, and dispatch processes.
- Experience in working with multiple warehouse locations will be preferred.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, MIS, control tower, or e-commerce operations.
- Candidates with experience in centralized operations monitoring or multi-location warehouse coordination will be preferred.
