SYSTRA, a global leader in mass transit and infrastructure development with a deep involvement in over 80% of India's metro projects, is seeking a skilled Contracts Engineer for our MMRDA Project. This role is critical for managing all contractual aspects of the engineering project, ensuring strict compliance with terms, timelines, and budgets, and overseeing efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will be adept at contract negotiation, documentation, risk management, and fostering clear communication with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities: As a Contracts Engineer, you will manage the contractual aspects of an engineering project, ensuring compliance with terms, timelines, and budgets, and overseeing project execution.

Your responsibilities will broadly include:

- Contract Management: Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of project contracts.
- Negotiation & Documentation: Handle contract negotiation, preparation of contractual documentation, and maintenance of all contract-related records.
- Compliance & Oversight: Ensure all project activities adhere to contractual terms, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential contractual risks and issues.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets and timelines from a contractual perspective,



ensuring financial compliance.
- Communication & Coordination: Serve as a key point of contact for contractual matters, facilitating effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Issue Resolution: Lead in resolving contractual disputes and claims, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
- Project Execution Support: Provide contractual advice and support to the project execution teams.

Profile/Skills Experience & Education:

- Engineering Graduate with a minimum of 7 years of experience, including at least 3 years of experience in metro projects.
- OR, Diploma holder with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years of experience in metro projects.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
- Problem-Solving: Solid ability to problem-solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, by applying industry best practices.
- Self-Motivation & Leadership: A self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
