Contract & Commercial Lead Wind PMC The Contract & Commercial Lead Wind PMC will support Project Management Consultant (PMC) contract administration and commercial governance activities across utility-scale wind energy projects. The role is responsible for maintaining contractual records, supporting variation and claims assessments, reviewing payment documentation, tracking commercial risks, and providing factual contractual support to enable informed Client decision-making throughout project execution, change management, and closeout activities

.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Administration & Documentation Management

- Maintain package contractual correspondence, notices, commercial registers, and contract administration records.
- Manage variation, change-event, and contractual action logs in accordance with project governance requirements.
- Maintain complete and auditable records to support contract administration, dispute avoidance, and project closeout activities.

Commercial Monitoring & Claims Support

- Support assessment of variations, change orders, and contractor claims under established PMC contractual governance processes.
- Coordinate factual inputs related to access constraints, logistics challenges, contractor interfaces, milestone impacts,



and delay events.
- Compile and maintain claim support documentation, substantiation records, and associated commercial evidence.

Payment Verification & Commercial Compliance

- Review contractor payment-support documentation in coordination with Quantity Surveying (QS) teams and project stakeholders.
- Verify completion evidence, supporting records, and commercial documentation prior to payment recommendations.
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations, commercial deliverables, and project reporting requirements.

Risk Management & Stakeholder Coordination

- Track unresolved commercial risks, contractual concerns, and outstanding actions requiring escalation.
- Coordinate with QS, Planning, Construction Management, contractors, and Client representatives on commercial and contractual matters.
- Support proactive risk identification and mitigation measures to reduce claim exposure and contractual disputes.

Qualifications

Education

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- PG Diploma / MBA in Contracts Management, Construction Management, Law, Quantity Surveying, or related field preferred.

Experience
- 7-10 years of experience in contract administration, commercial management, EPC projects, infrastructure projects, renewable energy, or wind energy projects.
- Experience managing contractual and commercial aspects of wind farm, EPC, infrastructure, industrial,



or Owner's Engineer projects.
- Robust experience in variations, claims management, payment certification support, and contractual documentation.
- Experience supporting multi-contractor environments and large-scale construction projects preferred.

Certifications
- MRICS / RICS Certification preferred.
- NICMAR qualification preferred.
- WorldCC (IACCM) Contract Management Certification preferred.
- PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification desirable.
- Contract Administration and Commercial Management training preferred.
