Role Description This is a part-time, remote Content Strategist role.

The Content

Strategist will define and maintain content frameworks that support Grid Zero’s brand, products, and customer education around rooftop solar. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning content initiatives, creating and refining core messaging, coordinating content calendars, and ensuring consistency across web pages, blog posts, guides, and other digital assets. The role involves collaborating with product, marketing, and operations teams to translate complex solar concepts into clear, accessible content for residential and commercial audiences.

Strategist will regularly analyze content performance, identify gaps, and adjust the strategy based on data and stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications

- Ability to develop and execute effective Content Strategy and lead Content Development initiatives for digital channels.
- Experience with Content Management, including organizing, updating, and optimizing content libraries and workflows.
- Strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills, with the ability to create explicit, engaging, and accurate material for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with renewable energy or technology sectors, especially rooftop solar, is an advantage.
- Comfort working remotely, managing time independently, and collaborating with cross-functional teams online.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret content performance metrics and apply insights to improve strategy and execution.
- Excellent command of written English and attention to detail in grammar, tone, and structure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Environmental Studies, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
