Job Summary:

We are seeking a sharp, strategically minded Senior Consultant/Consultant to lead high-impact competitive intelligence, market intelligence, and market research engagements for global pharma clients. The role demands solid command over analytical and strategic frameworks, from launch readiness and probability-of success assessments to competitive matrices and portfolio benchmarking, and the ability to translate complex data into decision-ready insight for senior stakeholders. Exposure to metabolic disease areas (obesity, diabetes, CVRM, MASH/MASLD) is a plus, though candidates from any therapeutic background with the right analytical and consulting depth are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end execution of client accounts and project groups, from scoping and planning through delivery, quality, and client sign-off
- Design and apply analytical/strategic frameworks, example - launch timelines, probability of success (PoS), opportunity assessments, 2x2/4x4 matrices, competitive and portfolio benchmarking • Build compelling, executive-ready strategy decks that translate market and competitive signals into clear business recommendations
- Drive proposal development for new and expanding accounts, scoping methodology, identifying sources, estimating effort, and shaping win-themes
- Own client relationships end-to-end, act as a trusted point of contact for key accounts, lead client presentations, and front strategic readouts
- Guides primary and secondary research design, ensuring rigor and relevance of intelligence gathered
- Support conference intelligence coverage (onsite/offsite) as needed,



synthesizing scientific and competitive signals into client-ready readouts
- Mentor and review the work of junior team members, maintaining consistency and quality across deliverables
- Proactively identify emerging trends and whitespace opportunities to strengthen client engagements and account growth

Core Competencies

- Deep expertise in competitive intelligence, market intelligence, and market research methodologies (primary and secondary)
- Strong, demonstrable experience building and applying analytical/strategic frameworks used in pharma strategy (PoS, launch curves, competitive matrices, etc.)
- Proven ability to independently manage accounts/project groups end-to-end, balancing strategic oversight with delivery rigor
- Excellent written and verbal communication, able to distill complexity into crisp, client-ready narratives
- Strong client-facing presence, confident leading presentations, workshops, and executive discussions
- Proven ability to develop proposals and business cases independently
- High ownership and strategic acumen, comfortable operating with ambiguity and driving outcomes with minimal oversight
- Working knowledge of metabolic disease areas (added advantage, not mandatory)

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD,



MPH or equivalent) in life sciences
- Experience or strong interest in metabolic disease areas (obesity, diabetes, CVRM, MASH/MASLD) • 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical consulting, competitive and market intelligence
- Demonstrated expertise in liver health therapy area (especially MASH/MASLD)
- Prior onsite conference coverage experience with ability to interact with KOLs is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, endpoints, and interpretation
- Experience leading engagement modules or managing junior team members Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with pharma clients, particularly in hepatology portfolios
- Familiarity with latest AI tools for driving process efficiencies
- Experience managing client engagements or leading project modules
- Strong experience with direct client engagements
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools for intelligence delivery and process efficiency
