IndiGo is looking for a dynamic and experienced Consultant - Corporate Relations & PR to lead media engagement, crisis response, and brand reputation strategies. In this role, the candidate will safeguard and elevate IndiGo’s brand equity across domestic and international markets while managing high-stakes communications in a fast-paced aviation setting.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a strong network of media professionals and social media influencers, generating compelling content, execute PR events and driving PR activities in alignment with the organisation’s communication strategy and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Media Relations

Good understanding of aviation sector, key Indian and international media covering the space including AvGeeks, influencers, top blogs etc.

Experience of media relations (preferably aviation media)

Capable of planning and executing media events in relevant Indian and global markets

Ability to effectively interact in a multi-cultural, global environment to build a strong network of journalists

Good understanding of influencer management, social media marketing

Should be able to support in crisis communication

Content Development & Management

Exceptional content writing and presentation skills. Should be able to develop/edit press releases, authored articles, social media content, blogs, review presentations, etc.

Should be well conversant with usage of AI tools for content development

Maintenance of knowledge repository - Q&A; bank, press releases, image bank etc.

Coordination and Collaboration





Close coordination with multiple stakeholders, PR agency, offices, partners, vendors etc.

Manage, maintain, and regularly update information resources

Keep track of relevant trade fairs, industry events, relevant awards, in India and globally. Explore and coordinate for participation

Skills & Attributes

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

Analytical ability, agility, innovative, creative

Understanding of international media, cultural nuances and awareness about their ways of working

Knowledge of relevant new-age, AI tools

High organizational maturity and ease in interacting across all levels of the organization

Good Interpersonal skills, team player, self-starter, result oriented

Experience of working in multinational organizations and with global teams

Work Experience

8-10 years of experience, preferably in aviation, tourism or service industry

QUALIFICATION

Graduate with major in English / Degree in Mass Communication / Public Relations
